I can help you with this, Cathyj0911.

The invoice in QuickBooks Online can only display the due date of the transaction. You can create a custom field, name it Past Due, and then add it to your invoices. Please take note that you'll have to manually enter the details in the custom field.

To set it up, just follow these steps:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Under Your Company, click Custom Form Styles.
  3. If you have an invoice template, click the Edit link below the ACTION column.
  4. If not, click the New style button in the upper right-hand corner and select Invoice.
  5. Go to the Content tab.
  6. Click to open the header of the template.
  7. In the Display section, click the +Custom field link.
  8. Enter Past Due and check the box beside it so it'll appear on the invoice.
  9. Click Done.

You can also share your thoughts about having this option in the invoices. Please send your feedback on this site: https://feedback.qbo.intuit.com/.

Thanks Sophia for your reply. But when i have gone as per your comments, it has shown Past Due with a separate column. Is there any way where Past Due showed in Header with bold red colour?

Thank you for getting back to me, Cathyj0911.

There's currently no option to change the color of a certain column in the invoice template. You can set the entire template with a different color though. To do this, follow steps 1 to 4 above, go to the Design tab, and then click Try other colors.

I'll be round if you have more questions.
