Welcome to the Community, @whitneyduque35.
Let’s walk through together on how to view W-9 forms.
Here’s how:
- In the Workers tab, go-to contractors and click Add a Contractor.
- Enter the contractor’s name and email address, ensure the box is checked to invite them to enter their information and then Submit.
- The contractor will receive an email for the invite and will be asked to create an Intuit account.
- The contractor indicates whether they file using a Social Security number or a Federal Identification Number.
- They’ll be prompted to fill in the fields required for the W-9 form and verify IRS certification questions.
- We display a populated W-9 form, ready for electronic signature.
- As they follow the prompts to sign, DocuSign will display the option to choose a style font or draw their signature
- Once the contractor accepts and signs the document, the contractor and vendor profile inside QuickBooks Online updates with the address, tax ID and more.
- The completed W-9 form will be ready to view and download in the documents tab.
Note: In the Personal details section it’ll show that you’re waiting for information.
