Welcome to the Community, @cjkothe. Let me provide some insights about your concerns.

Yes, you can duplicate a converted estimate made into an invoice.

Here's how to do it:

  1. Go to Sales, then click All sales.
  2. Navigate to the Estimate, or Invoice want to duplicate.
  3. Under the ACTION tab, click on the dropdown arrow.

Additionally, there's no direct option to convert an invoice into an estimate. However, you can still create an estimate based on the details of an existing invoice by manually entering the required information, such as the product or service details, pricing, and any other relevant information. Once you have entered these details, you can create an estimate and send it to your customer for approval. Please note that this process involves some additional manual work, but it can be an effective way to create estimates based on the details of an existing invoice.

To keep your records accurate and up-to-date from your sales transactions. You'll need to record the payments once you receive it.

It does not give me the option to duplicate!

Hi Gerardo321,

I was able to create a duplicate using my test account and by following the steps that my colleague has shared above. In your case, we're going to do the browser troubleshooting steps to know if the missing Duplicate option is caused by random browser issues.

To begin, we can access QBO by signing in using a private or incognito browser. This mode operates without extensions and cached files, enabling the browser to retrieve fresh data directly from Intuit's server. Here are the shortcut keys to open a private or incognito browser.

For PC:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P

For Mac:

  • Google Chrome: Command + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Command + Shift + P

If you can see the Duplicate option while browsing privately, switch back to regular browsing and clear the cache. If not, use a different browser so we know if this only happens to the one you use.

Please don't hesitate to go back to this thread if you have other questions in mind.
