I suspect an employee is accessing our quickbooks from outside the office and committing fraudulant activities. Is there any way that I can find the ip address of the login where I can further track where it came from. I know that the logins were from outside normal office hours, but would like to verify that is was from her personal computer at home

Let me share some ideas on how to check the activities in your account.
There is no way for us to view the user's IP address. For now, we can track the activities in your account by checking the Audit log report.
You can click the gear icon then choose Audit Log. This way, you'll be able to track the activities in your account and check if there are changes.
Here's how:
The EVENT column helps you identify if the user Logged in or Logged out.
I'm adding this article as your reference to use the Audit Log: Use the audit log in QuickBooks Online.
Lastly, if you consider changing your password, you can refer to this article for the steps: Change your log-in information.
I'll be around if you need anything else about checking the Audit Log. Have a good day!
This does not answer the original posters question. The result of following these steps simply tells us if the user logged in or not. We need to know what IP address they logged in from, so that we can determine if they logged in from an approved place.
How do we find the IP ADDRESS that a user logged in from?
You have clicked a link to a site outside of the QuickBooks or ProFile Communities. By clicking "Continue", you will leave the community and be taken to that site instead.
