Can I update the vehicle for multiple past trips that are already categorized vs. doing it one at a time?

I got a new vehicle and set it up as primary and the vehicle got assigned to previous trips where I did not even had that car

Thanks for posting here, eduardoesquivel!

I understand that you need to edit the past trips. When you set a new vehicle as primary, it won't affect your past trips. There'll be a pop-up like this:Capture.PNG

If you need to assign the past trips to the new vehicle, you'll have to edit them individually since we're unable to update them by bulk.

It's probably because of browser error if what you're referring to is that the past trips got assigned to the new vehicle after you change it to the primary. You'll want to review them using an incognito window.

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P

Also, you'll want to clear the cache since it causes issues in QuickBooks Online. Lastly, make sure that the browser is supported and up-to-date.

I've added some links for you to check for more info about mileage. These links will also show you how to automatically track them:

Keep on posting here if you need anything else. Take care!
