Hello there, @userjim-keaney.
I'm here to help make sure you're able to reorder the line items within an invoice in QuickBooks Online.
As of the moment, there isn't an integrated way to change the order of line items in an invoice while logged in to your account via the mobile app. It is recommended to enter your invoices and reorder their line items by logging in to your account in a web browser.
Therefore, I'm adding this article to learn more about how you can create invoices: Create and Send Invoices in QuickBooks Online.
Now that we're able to remedy the line item order within an invoice, here are articles you can read to compare the features you can use while using the QuickBooks mobile app:
For all the features and functions of QuickBooks Online, you can log in to any of our supported browser versions for best experience and use this reference for guidance: Help Articles in QuickBooks Online. You're able to read subtopics that will describe how a feature is used and how to accomplish tasks related to its functions.

I'm aware it can be done in the QBO desktop app. Can QBO please add the ability to re-order line items on invoices within their mobile app, so users don't have to use 2 different apps to achieve this. It's a pretty standard drag'n'drop feature in modern apps. Thanks
Welcome back, @userjim-keaney.
I can see having an option to reorder line items on invoices in QuickBooks mobile app is helpful to you and your business. This way, your users don't have to use two different apps.

A bit disappointed…look at the year now! It’s 2024 and I know many self employed iOS users who are disgruntled that this hasn’t been corrected or patched. There was a time where I was able to move my line items freely in the QBO app with my iPad or iPhone…why on earth would you guys eliminate this important feature?? Business owners are constantly on the move and need features like that to make the experience enjoyable, but more importantly depend on efficiency! Please bring back the feature of moving line items in the QBO app. We work so hard and deserve that.
