Email sent to me to Confirm EFT account info that I did not request?

I got an email from xxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxxxxx.xxx and it says in the title "Action Required: Confirm your EFT account information." Upon reading the email, it talks about how supposedly "I" made this request to change my account information. I did NOT make this request at all. The email says if my account information is correct in the email then I don't have to do any further action and it'll process my request. My account information is indeed correct on this email. I'm just severely confused on this bizarre email because I did not make any requests to change my account information for EFT, as well as concerned that there's some "request being processed" now.

Do I have anything to worry about? Should I just disregard the email? I just wish I understood why I was sent this when I didn't do anything myself to receive it.

I literally had the same thing happen to me. Except its under my son's name and then my checking account information. I am so confused!!

Email sent to me to Confirm EFT account info that I did not request?

I received the same email. I was signing up for QBO payments to accept credit card payments or checks for invoices. I called and spoke to them and it was legit. I just needed to continue the setup for online payment processing. It now shows in my account info under payments.

I hope this helps!
