Excel version error QB Desktop Version 15

Hi, we have quickbooks desktop Pro 2015 Release R14P and only today has it stopped allowing us to export to excel. It gives an error saying "the Microsoft excel version installed on the machine is not compatible with Quickbooks" We have not changed any thing on the computer and have the latest version of Excel through 365. Is there a workaround for this? Does any one know what has caused this to suddenly happen?

Hello,

Could you, please, clarify. Which types of entities you need to export?

Excel version error QB Desktop Version 15

Hi, @samhughes88.

Thanks for reaching out to the QuickBooks Community. Let me help share some information about the error you're getting.

This error occurs once the QuickBooks version you're using is no longer compatible. When exporting transactions or reports to excel, let's make sure that it meets the system requirements for QuickBooks Desktop.

You have an option to upgrade your QuickBooks Desktop to the latest version or use the free trial for the meantime so you can export to excel successfully.
