Buy nowI've imported dozens of receipts from Google Drive. After going through each individual receipt, manually inputting the details (because the "receipt reader" feature isn't working), and creating the expense, the receipt is not attached to the linked expense. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? How do I escalate a bug to QBO Support for this? The folks at their call center have been so incredibly unhelpful and don't seem to know how the product works and aren't able to file a bug complaint.
Hi there, nswain.
I'm here to help fix the issue you're having with receipts not attaching to expenses in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
We haven't received any reports regarding this issue. Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to help isolate this.
To examine if the unusual behavior is being caused by the browser's cache and cookies, which store frequently accessed page resources, let's access your QBO using a private browser in incognito mode.
Here's how:
After logging in, go back to the Receipts page and attempt to create another expense using the previously uploaded receipt.
If it's successful, return to your default browser and clear the cache to refresh the system. But if the problem continues, attempt using other browsers that are supported.

Hello Fritz, I've tested in multiple browsers and in an Incognito Chrome window and the issue persists. The issue appears to be very specifically related to receipts that are being uploaded from Google Drive. I know this because I tested uploading directly from my desktop and the receipt attaches normally in that case.
We understand the relevance of handling receipts to link on expenses, nswain1110.
Since the issue persists after performing some troubleshooting steps shared above, we recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. This way, they can further review your account and track these receipts to ensure they're linked to your expenses.
