Has anyone be able to find a way to print/export a report from QB to excel (or csv) that shows the default purchase and sales bin locations?
Hey there, @amyp.
The option to export a report that shows purchase and sales default bin locations is unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop.
For now, you'll have to run separate reports for sales and purchases with inventory sites. Then, manually track the bin locations once you export them to Excel.
To track sales by site, run the Inventory Sales by site report. Here's how:
Once done, run the Purchases by Item Detail report to view purchases by site. Simply follow these steps:
After exporting the reports, you can now combine your data into the Excel worksheet and manually track its default bin locations.
I can see how this option would help you review your sales and purchases by bin locations. Therefore, I suggest sending feedback to our developers. They can review your suggestions and most likely incorporate them in future updates.
In addition, here's an article you can read to learn more about your bin location management: Multiple Inventory Sites.
Lastly, I've got you this helpful article for ideas about the other ways you can utilize your inventory management: Set up and use the Warehouse Manager App.
If you need further assistance with any of the steps or have additional questions about exporting sales and purchases by bin locations, let me know by posting a comment below. I'll always be around to help.
