Help - because QB customer service knows nothing.

I am new to this and I am having the most miserable experience I can have.  I disgusted by the fact that I have paid for this service and it is a terrible and non user friendly system.

My big Frustration starts with my investment property.  It is recording my rent payments (I use Sales invoice to show paid) and my deposits twice and it is artificially inflating my bank balance to an income that does not exist.  For example if I take in $40Kk gross in rent it has it at $80K.  If anyone can help explain I would appreciate it.

No one is able to explain this or make sense of it.  Customer service knows nothing - that needs to change immediately especially if we are paying for a service.  I am new to this and QB goes out of its way to make so frustrating that you are forced to pay for their Live BK service, another service I am disappointed in.  Paid a lot of money for work that was not what I needed, after I was very clear what I needed.

It you see your invoices in your bank register, that means you're using an item set up to use your bank account, which is almost always wrong. Stop using that item, and instead use one that uses (usually) an income account for your sales and then this won't happen.

Hi, Thanks.  So if I am understanding you - in the "Deposit to" section of my Sales Receipt for that tenant, I would create a New section to list as Deposited into but how would that work for recording and accounting ?

BTW not one person from QB has offered help and I assume that is because they do not what to do.
