The estimated sales tax is only available in QuickBooks Self-Employed, Mavergara25.

QuickBooks Online calculates the sales tax automatically in the sales transactions. You can check the reference about how to set up and use automated sales tax in QuickBooks Online.

Although, if you're set up for sales tax already, you can go to the Taxes page and check the tax payments. Here's how:

  1. Click Taxes.
  2. Go to the Sales Tax tab.

From there, you can view the paid and overdue sales tax amounts.

Swing by if you have other concerns. We're right here to help you out.

Thanks Kristine,

Not looking for sales tax estimates, but like an S Corp total income tax payment. Like a 1040-ES or 1120-W , are those estimated calculations captured in QBO or are they only available in self employed? If they aren't automatically calculated can you give me some guidance on suggested estimated income tax payments calculations.

Thanks!

Hi mavergara25,

The estimated sales tax option is only available in QuickBooks Self-Employed. In QuickBooks Online, sales taxes are calculated based on the transactions you have recorded.

You can see the accumulated sales tax by going to Taxes > Sales tax in your QuickBooks Online account. I've got these articles for more details:

With regard to the 1040-ES or 1120-W in QuickBooks Self-Employed, you can check this link for more details: Pay Federal Estimated Quarterly Taxes.

You can also reach out to our Customer Care Team for further assistance:

Here are the steps:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  2. You can click the Assistant option or click the Help icon located in the upper right-hand corner.
  3. In the Help window, click the Contact Us button at the bottom.
  4. Enter your question and click the Continue button.
  5. Select Start a chat or Get a callback.

Please feel free to add a comment here if you have any additional questions or other concerns. We're always around to help you some more. Take care and stay safe.
