Glad to have you here today, @bassem1,

When you send invoices from QUickBooks Online, the system will use the default email address <quickbooks@notification.intuit.com>. We're currently unable to update this information.

As a workaround, you may send the invoices outside the program by downloading PDF copies from QuickBooks before mailing them. Here's how:

  1. Create or open an existing invoice.
  2. Tap the Print or Preview option twice.
  3. On the PDF screen, click the Download icon.
  4. Save the invoice to your preferred location then set them as attachments for your emails.

Having the option to set a different email for sending sales forms in QBO is a great idea. I'm making it my top priority to relay this suggestion to the Development Team, letting them know you'd like to have this ability.

I was able to send invoices via e-mail until I cancelled my payroll subscription.  I want to get back to being able to send emails.  How do I do that?  I find it very frustrating to pay so much for a program and not be able to get support.

Let's isolate the issue of not being able to send invoices, janecc.

There are times that an issue like this occurs when the system encounters browser-related concerns. We can fix this by running some troubleshooting steps.

To start with, let's try sending an E-Invoice on a private window. It is the best place to identify any browser-related issues. You can use these keyboard shortcuts to open one:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Shift N

If you're able to send one, we can go back to a regular browser and clear its cache. A piled cache can also be the reason for some unexpected issues o the opened pages like QuickBooks.

We also have the option to use a different browser like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari.

Afterward, let's try sending an invoice using your email address.

If the same thing happens, let's make sure that the option to send an invoice is turned on.

Let me guide you with these steps:

  1. From the Gear icon, select Account and settings.
  2. Go to the Sales tab.
  3. Select the Online delivery section.
  4. On the Additional email options for invoices field, select Online invoice.
  5. Click Save, and then Done.

I've also added this reference if you want to let your customers pay the invoice online: Take and Process Payments Online.

There you have it, janecc. Let me know how these troubleshooting steps work on your end. Keep safe!
