I've got steps to ensure you'll see active customer list who ordered last year, @rlm2.

You can customize either the Sales by Customer Detail or Sales by Customer  Summary report to pull up the info you need. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu, and then refer to the Sales and Customers section.

  2. Choose Sales by Customer Detail or Sales by Customer Summary report.
  3. Pick the Last Year in the Report period, choose Customer in the Group by, and your preferred Accounting method in drop-down ▼.
  4. Tap the Customize button, and then select the customer names in the Filter drop-down ▼. You'll see the customer name with the word [Deleted] when a customer is inactive.
  5. Hit Run report once ready.

Feel free to check out this article for more info: Customize reports.

You'll also want to memorize your reports to save their current customization settings for easy access.

I'm always around to lend a hand if you have more QuickBooks concerns. Take care and have a nice day.
