How can we send an invoice and require it to be e-signed?

Ex: I send invoices to contractors via email. I would like to have this invoices e-signed. How would I set that up?

Currently, the E-signature feature is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). It's available on the mobile app and the QuickBooks Desktop version. However, you can manually affix your signature or integrate a supported third-party app.

 

There are two ways to look for a third-party app. First, go to the apps.intuit.website or navigate the Apps menu in your QBO account. Let me guide you on how:

 

  1. Go to the Apps menu.
  2. Select the Find Apps tab, and then type a keyword in the search bar like "E-signature."
  3. Click the magnifying glass to search, then choose the app that suits your need.

 

Additionally, we can capture a signature using the QuickBooks Online app. Follow the details below depending on your mobile device.

 

iOS:

 

  1. From the Menu ☰, select Estimates or Invoices.
  2. Select an existing transaction, or create a new one.
  3. Add any necessary information.
  4. Select Save.
  5. Select Get Signature.
  6. Have your customer sign with their finger.
  7. Select Done.

 

Android:

 

  1. From the Menu ☰, select Estimates or Invoices.
  2. Select an existing transaction, or create a new one.
  3. Add any necessary information.
  4. Select Done.
  5. Select Get Signature.
  6. Have your customer sign with their finger.
  7. Select Done.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING !

We need to have our customers signatures on their invoices.  Time to rethink using QBO,
