I have two separate QB Enterprise accounts for two different businesses with the same product services. Daily company A, transfers inventory to company B. How do I properly account for these transactions in QB? Without increasing revenue...
Hi @Jml0105 , it must be one company sells to the other company. Because if just transfer, one company gonna be expensed and another granted gonna be granted (no money exchange). Comment back, cheers.
Hello,
Yes, not money exchanged only merchandise.

So if I have five locations (multi store app) that move inventory from store to store by transfers how does the cost of the inventory get moved from one location to other? There has to be a way to credit the sending store and bill the receiving store.
Thank you,

Good day, @donna200.
Tracking inventory stored at different locations or sites is currently available in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. If you're using QuickBooks Enterprise, you'll have to turn on the feature to enable it.
Once done, you'll have first to set up the inventory sites. This way, QuickBooks will know where to locate specific inventories. Here's how:
1. Go to the Lists menu then choose Inventory Site List.
2. Select the Inventory Site button then click New.
3. Enter the needed information such as the name, description, site contact, etc.
4. Click OK once done.
5. Repeat Steps 1 to 3 to set up all the other sites.
