@CamelleT RE: I understand that the subtotal function is essential for you in making your invoices however this feature is currently unavailable in the new experience.
Wow, that's amazing! Amazing that Intuit thinks releasing a "new" experience without the features of the old one makes any sense at all! Amazing that QuickBooks Online, after all these years, is still so deficient when compared to QuickBooks Desktop. Yes, Intuit is certainly full of surprises lately.
Totally agree. This feature has been a part of Quickbooks for the last 15 years and I would have NEVER expected it to be removed from accounting software. All of my customers are pissed that I can't give them subtotals and I'm being forced to consider switching to a different accounting package.
Please vote on this feature here:
How could this possibly be left out!?!?!
We used subtotal often. For our clients It helps to subtotal hourly rates and subtotal expenses. In addition, we use it when we need to add a percentage to the subtotal.
I cannot understand why Intuit would drop this feature.
We understand its importance for streamlining your invoice processes and see that this limitation may cause inconvenience for you, steve_vr.

The **** is wrong with you Intuit? Don't change the "experience" (lol) without first adding all the necessary features of the old one. What a joke.
The only reason why I pay you guys is because my accountant asks me to.
YES! Please add the subtotal button again. This is such simple tool, that we use for every invoice.
I have used the subtotal function on every invoice I've sent out since I started my business 10 years ago. How in the world do you just remove a functioning and useful item for no reason? Why?
We understand the relevance of a streamlined process in managing invoices, kylie8.

That word salad makes no sense. How do you roll out a comment?
I have sent my feedback multiple times with no response or any way of knowing if it was received or not. It's like shouting into a black hole.
Just found out about this! Its crazy they would remove the sub-total feature. I use this on every invoice to breakdown services and reimbursables for the client.
Please bring this back QB!!!

WHYYYYYYYYY? Where? Enhancements mean adding to functionality not taking away! What a terrible decision to just eliminate Subtotals. Did someone just forget? Obviously you did not ask the community or your audience.
