How do I add my bank account information on my invoice so I can be paid via bank deposit? (sorry to bother the community, but the online help was not very helpful).

I'm glad you've reached out to us. Let me help and walk you through on how to add your bank account information on the Invoice. 

 

The option is, you can to customize your invoice template and add footer text. Right there, you can note your bank account information: 

 

 Here's how: 

  1. Click the Gear Icon.
  2. Select Custom From Styles.
  3. From the New Style drop-down, choose Invoice. 
  4. Select Content.
  5. On the right side option, select the third pencil icon. 
  6. In the Add footer text box, type-in the information you want to add on the invoice including your bank account info. 
  7. Click Done to apply the changes.

If you need further assistance with the steps, I recommend calling our QuickBooks Online Support Team. They have additional tools to pull up your account and do a remote session. 

 

Here's how you can contact our phone support: 

  1. Go to: Get help with QuickBooks Online.
  2. Click the contact us link. 
  3. Select the Search for something else, and type-in Customer Support. 
  4. Click Search.
  5. Scroll-down and click Get Phone Number

I don't see "custom form styles" within the gear icon.  It appears most of the options that normally appear here are missing...

Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to get the missing options to show under the Gear icon.

 

There are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources, thus causing some errors and/or unusual responses. In the meantime, try logging into your QuickBooks account using a private browser.

 

To use a private browser, here's how:   

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If it works, we'll need to clear your browser's cache to optimize the browser's performance and your QBO experience.

 

If you get the same result, let's try using a different browser, then try to check if the options showed from there.
