How do I change way to pay need to delete Venmo

I've got you covered on changing the payment method when receiving payments from your customer in QuickBooks Online (QBO), cdpc1.

 

The only option to delete any payment method such as Venmo is unavailable. However, we can make it inactive. If you formerly used it, we'll need to change the payment method of each transaction that uses Venmo. Here's how to make a payment method inactive:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon on the top menu. 
  2. Choose the All lists option below the LISTS column.
  3. Select Payment Methods.
  4. The lists of your payment method will show. Click the dropdown icon beside the payment you want to delete.
  5. Tap the Make inactive.

If you encounter the prompt message, "This payment method can't be deleted because it is used on a customer." As mentioned above, we need to change the payment methods of each transaction. If the transaction of that payment method is too many for you to change and will draw a lot of your time, put a checkmark in the Cards field before saving it every time you create an invoice.
