In QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), the ability to convert a PDF bank statement to CSV is currently unavailable. You can visit our QuickBooks App center to check for any third-party application that offers the same feature you'd like.
I can see how having this option would be helpful for you and your business. Rest assured that I'll pass along your suggestion to our Product Developers. They're always looking for ideas to consider on how to improve QuickBooks.

Hi All. What specific CSV format is required for accurate importing of bank statements transactions? I am under sever time pressure and desperate! Regards,Ian.
I've got some steps we can perform to see if this is just triggered by your bank, or in QuickBooks Self-Employed. (QBSE), Ian Dynatex.
We can upload CSVs with either the following 3-column or 4-column format. These are the only columns QuickBooks can handle and this order. Also, each bank formats CSV files differently which mean you may not be able to import CSVs from certain banks since files don't have the format QuickBooks needs. You can refer to this article as your guide: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.
If you need to manually import your bank transactions using.CSV file, just get this file from your bank's website. Let me show you how:
