The supported file types for importing bank transactions are QBO, QFX, and CSV. Take note that you'll have to use a third-party application to convert your PDF files to a supported one. You may use the tool suggested by Fiat Lux - ASIA or head to the Apps menu within your QuickBooks company to find other converters. Here's how:
- Select Apps from the sidebar menu.
- Click the Find Apps tab.
- Enter a keyword in the search bar or click Browse category.

Once you're ready, it's time to upload the file into the program:
- Go to Bookkeeping, then choose Transactions.
- Select Bank transactions or head to Banking.
- Click the blue tile of appropriate bank account
- For accounts not connected to online banking, hit Upload transactions.
- For accounts not connected to online banking, select Upload from file from the Link account drop-down menu.
- Locate and open the file you downloaded from your bank, then click Continue.
- In the QuickBooks account dropdown, pick an account you want to upload the transactions into.
- Map the columns and follow the onscreen steps complete the process.
