How do i put an accept button on my estimate

You may need a 3rd party app to do so. Once your customer accepted the Estimate, system will generate the Invoice automatically.

How do i put an accept button on my estimate

 Hello there, lisa-purafog-com.

Currently, the ability to allow customers to accept estimates online is unavailable. I've got an option you may consider doing to get an online customer approval system set up for your Estimates in QBO.

QuickBooks Online has a lot of supported third-party apps that offer platforms for customer approving estimates. I encourage you to visit the QuickBooks App Center and search for a keyword like Estimates to get started.

I am also including this article about customizing invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in Quickbooks Online for your future reference. It contains information about personalizing custom templates.

If you need further assistance, don't hesitate to ask. I'll be around to help you out.

Are there plans to add an accept button feature? If so, when? That would be incredibly helpful and add a lot of value to this product.

How do i put an accept button on my estimate

Good day, HandyOahu.

As of now, I'm unable to tell if and when a button to accept payment will be available.

I'd suggest visiting our Blog. We'll be posting there any product and feature updates.

I'm just around if you need help. Keep safe!

Are you serious, there is no way to accept an estimate?

@ridfr51

The feature is not yet available. You can utilize a free invoicing app to integrate with QBO as a workaround.

How do i put an accept button on my estimate

So I just got an estimate from a friend who is going to do some landscaping around my house. His estimate had an accept or decline option. I accepted. Then called him and he said as of about a month ago, he got an update and it automatically sends it, his customer have been using it and he loves it.

I have no available updates or option to do this. My estimates currently do not have this option. We both have qb online. But he may pay for the next level up from me. But it does not list it as an option to get if you pay more either.

anyone from Intuit have any information about this change in the last month or so?

Thanks,

Thanks for joining in this conversation, @Joshocs.

At this time, the option to let customers accept estimates online is still unavailable. It could be that your friend uses a third-party app as suggested by my peer @ GlinetteC here in this thread.

You also want to visit our QuickBooks App Center to look for the best app that works for your business. You can search for a keyword like Estimates to get started.

Let me know in your reply if you have any additional concerns. I'll be around to help.

I reached out to my friend, he said he is not using a 3rd party app. He goes into his QB App and creates a new estimate. Here is the one he just sent me for this purpose. See screen shots attached from customers perspective.

How do i put an accept button on my estimate

Hi there, @Joshocs.

Thanks for getting back to us, and I appreciate you for sending a screenshots to your concern. Allow me to chime in and share additional details about the accept button in estimates.

As mentioned in this thread, the Accept estimate online is not yet available in our system. Although there isn't an estimated time or date as to when it will be deployed, but I'd still suggest sending feedback to our Product Developers. Your valuable feedback will help us improve QuickBooks Online (QBO) to better serve your business needs. Here's how:

  1. Within your QuickBooks Online company file, choose the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Click Feedback under the Help menu.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Then select Send feedback.

You can track your feature requests through our QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website. For more details, please browse through this article: How do I submit feedback?

Also, please know that QuickBooks Online mobile app has limited access to some of its features. You can go to this article to find out more features that are available in your devices: Compare mobile app features.

Meanwhile, you'll want to follow the suggestion given by my peer above to utilize a third-party app. Just log in to your QBO account using web and go to the Apps menu or use this website: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/app/apps/home/.

I'm adding these articles that explains on how you can manage your estimates to keep work moving and get paid faster:

Add a comment below if you have any other concerns about managing customers' entries. We'll be happy to help you. Take good care!

Let me chime into this thread and provide additional information about the accept button on estimates, nas.

Following recent updates, this functionality has been made available with the new estimate layout. If you're using the new experience, we can:

  1. Go to the Estimates window.
  2. Key in the necessary information.
  3. On the Review and send dropdown list, select Share link
  4. Click Done

Afterward, the link will be sent to your customer's email on file. However, if you're on the old layout, we can Update layout instead. I'll add an image for visual reference. Then, we can proceed with using the feature.

Moreover, you can browse these articles to learn more about managing your estimates:

The Community Space is available 24/7 to assist with any estimate-related concerns. Take care!

Is there a way to have the "link" included in the save and send feature? It seems as though I need to copy and paste the link into the save and send. Seems redundant.

Thanks for joining this thread, userpatrick3.

You can use your Share link option to copy a link that enables the customer to download, print, or approve their estimate.

Here's how it works:

  1. When creating or editing an estimate, use your Review and send ▼ drop-down list.
  2. Choose Share link.
  3. Click Copy link.
  4. Select Done.

After copying the web address, you'll be able to include it on your estimate. For example, pasting it in the Note to customer text box will enable your customer to see the link on their estimate. You can also directly provide it to them outside of QuickBooks if you'd prefer to.

If you'd like to submit any feedback or feature requests about your Share link option, you can do so while signed in.

I've also included a detailed resource about working with estimates which may come in handy moving forward: Create & send estimates

Please feel welcome to send a reply if there's any additional questions. Have a wonderful Friday!
