How do I show subtotals for sub-accounts on parent account invoice?

Since the template update, when I create a delayed charge for sub-accounts, the main invoice does total charges by sub-account.  It lists the line items for each sub-account, but does group and total the individual account.  In addition, the attachments from the delayed charge are not importing when creating the main invoice.

How do I show subtotals for sub-accounts on parent account invoice?

The option to add subtotals is available in the new layout experience, @userinfo157. I'm here to guide you on adding this to your invoices.

On your invoice page, you'll have to click the Add product or service dropdown below the Product or service table to locate this option. You can follow the steps I'll share below.

  1. Head to + New.
  2. Select Invoice under Customers.
  3. Choose the appropriate customer on the invoice page. After that, click Add to the charges you want to include in this invoice in the Suggested transactions field.
  4. Go to the Add product or service dropdown and select Add subtotal.
  5. Ensure that everything is correct, then hit Save and close.

Currently, importing the attachments you've added to your delayed charges into your main invoice isn't possible. However, you can still manually include them when making one.

It's a manual process now, as opposed to automated before?  Is there a way to add the subaccount name to each subtotal?

Why is the option to add an attachment to the delayed charge still available if it doesn't go anywhere?

Thanks for coming back to this thread, userinfo157. I'm here to answer your questions about adding subtotals and attachments in delayed charges.

Currently, there's an ongoing investigation into the root cause of invoices not listing sub-customers and subtotals on the invoice line details. With this, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team so they can add you to the list of affected users. This way, you'll receive an email notification once an update becomes available.

Once you're in touch with our support team, I also suggest raising the concern regarding attachments of delayed charge transactions not populating to its linked invoice. Our technical support experts can further investigate why you're experiencing this issue and guide you on which steps to take next.

Here's how to reach us:

  1. Go to the Help menu and select the Search tab.
  2. Next, click Contact Us.
  3. Select a topic to connect with the right expert or choose to ask about something else to enter a brief description of your concern. Then, press Continue.
