The sound when scanning or capturing receipts comes from your device. You'll have to turn off or adjust the setting to lower the volume.
Aside from adjusting the volume, you can also turn off the shutter sound from your camera settings. Here's how:

It's not the camera sound. That is turned off on my phone. It's the sound when the app frames the receipt. It didn't used to be that loud, but I can't find anything to regulate the volume.

Currently, we have an on-going investigation where users, like you, are unable to turn down the shutter when scanning receipts.
Rest assured that we have already informed our engineering team and they're in all hands working to fix this as soon as possible.
