I got you covered, @mark-rayonec-com. I'm here to help you know how long the pending payments stay on your account for declined purchases.

If you're referring to Online Bill pay, you can simply open the Unsuccessful Payment History page to check the details. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  2. Then, navigate to the Settings menu and select Accounts and Settings.
  3. Then, click Bill Pay and select Unsuccessful Payment History.
  4. Select each of the following for more details.
    • Uncashed Checks
    • Returned Checks (returned by US USPS)
    • Failed ePayments (returned by vendor's bank)

On the other hand, you can also reach out to our Merchant Support team to further check the details of the declined payment and guide you on how to fix this.

If your vendor is using a third-party app when processing payment, I recommend reaching out to them to know more information about the declined payment.

I've attached this helpful article to serve as your reference in managing payments in QBO: Enter and manage bills and bill payments in QuickBooks Online.

I'm always here ready to help if you have any other concerns about processing payments to your vendor. Have a great week ahead and keep safe.

Charges you attempt but that file, if they appear at all on the credit card provider's website, will usually go away after one or two business days. It's really up to the credit card provider.
