How to backdate 4th quarter checks that were not recorded in quickbooks because of neglect.

You can manually create paychecks in QuickBooks Online Payroll and record them on the correct date. Here's how:

1. Go to the Payroll menu.
2. Within the Employees tab, select Run Payroll.
3. If you have more than one payroll schedule, select the schedule, then Continue.
4. Select the employees you'd like to pay and enter the hours and memos.
5. Click Preview payroll and select Preview payroll details.
6. Then, select Finish Payroll.

If the system wouldn't allow you to backdate 4th quarter checks, we can directly contact our payroll specialist to help you enter the check with the correct period. They are the ones who can help you record all the check need to be recorded in your account. Here's how:

1. Go to Help at the upper-right corner.
2. Enter a short description of your concern. 
3. Click Talk to a human. Then, I still need a human.

Wow... no mention of a fee?  I have tried 4 times to get last quarter payroll updated.  First time, the specialists were backed up and would have to put in a work order and hopefully get a call back within 2-4 weeks. No mention of a fee.  Second contact, a specialist helped me with January, but not the prior quarter because I did not have that info with me.  No mention of a fee.  Third contact, Kyle P quit responding to the chat and I had to close it and try again... prior to him not responding, no mention of a fee.  Fourth contact, Ben tells me that he can help, but there is a fee that will be billed.  Better for me to know than to be blindsided with a bill.  BLINDSIDED with a bill?  Is that what would have happened if one of the other specialists had fixed it?
