Hello, CPCjim.
The Dashboard shows you a quick overview of your business and its features. You can customize the arrangement of the list of banks and the other sections, we're unable to customize them.
If there's anything else that you need with any sections of QuickBooks Online, you can look into our Community Help articles.
Let me know if you have other questions. Take care!
Looking at various online user forums, many people have the same request. Please update the product to allow for users to customize the dashboard. If we can't turn off something we do not need, please allow us to at least move it to the bottom of the page. My entire screen on my laptop is taken up by a widget I will NEVER use. I cannot move it or close it.
I'm in complete agreement with other commenters. I would love a "shortcut" block on the Dashboard for Accounts Payable. I don't use any of the current blocks other than bank accounts. I would love for that "Accept online payments" to be replaced with Accounts Payable, Bills Due, etc.
Hello there, @destinblond.
Thanks for your willingness to help us enhance our products. As of now, we're not able to customize a dashboard. Only the date range that can we customize.

Replying to an old post...not only you cannot change it, but one of the dashboards displays erroneous information - sales is more or less double of what it should be when you run a p&l. I went behind the scenes to the report and tried to modify it, but nothing has changed through to the sales dashboard????
This is just wrong...
Let me share some information about the sales graph shown in the Dashboard, Arthur_JB.
The dashboard sales summary is based on the sales transactions in your account for the period specified (invoices and sales receipts). This will not include journal entries and bank deposits. However, it's counted on your Profit & Loss report. Also, the amounts on your Sales graph in the dashboard are based on the sales transactions in your account for the period specified. This doesn't include journal entries posted to your sales accounts and the calculated sales taxes.
We can double-check the amount shown on your sales graph. Just first make sure you filter its report dates correctly by clicking the This month drop-down arrow. Once done, run the Sales by Customer Summary report to check the details of your Sales graph. Here's how you can open the report:
That said, only sales transactions such as invoices and sales receipts are reported as sales. If the same thing happens, try signing in to QuickBooks Online (QBO) using a private or incognito window. This helps us confirm browser-related issues since this mode doesn't use the existing cache data. Let m show you how:
Then, try accessing the Dashboard sales again. If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to delete those temporarily stored files and browsing history. Removing this should fix the issue since the overtime collection of data can create corruption. We can also use supported, up-to-date browsers to roll out the possibility of a browser-related issue.
Feel free to visit this link to know more about the introduction to the home dashboard of QBO.
I'd be happy to hear any updates after performing the steps as I want to ensure this is resolved for you. Also if you have questions about running reports, please add a reply below. I'd be happy to assist you further.
I am having the same frustrations!
How Do I change the reporting period for the graphs on the dashboard? I want to use up to 5 years.
Secondly, how to I add and remove accounts from the dashboard to customize? First I need to see what accounts are included in the graphs so I can see if it is reporting what I need.
Based on the feedback I am seeing, there is no way to do this. Is that correct?
So I am left with downloading data into excel and creating my own graphs manually. Is that the only option?
Is there an upgraded Quick books that would allow for this? otherwise, the dashboard is useless.
How do I resolve this?
