Buy nowSee a transaction 7/24/25 Orig Name Intuit with received amount $100
If I look at the bank, It only shows the deposit is Intuit along with the Intuit fee.
If I do a deposit details report, I see no deposit on 7/24/25.
How would I figure who made the deposit?
A pending transaction will only appear in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) bank feed after it has posted to your bank account, Playawest45.
The program will not display a transaction until it has cleared your bank account. While your bank may show a transaction as pending, QBO will only download it once it is posted. If the deposit does not appear on the Deposit Detail report, it may still be in the Undeposited Funds account and not yet recorded as a deposit.
To find out who made the deposit, check the Undeposited Funds (UF) account. This account holds payments you have received but have not yet deposited into your bank. Here’s how you can do this:
After the payment clears your bank and both the $100 deposit and the separate Intuit fee show up in your bank feed, you can match them. For detailed steps, see the article: Match your bank and credit card transactions.
Then, we can make a deposit. If you find the payment in the UF account, choose it to create a deposit. You can also add a line item on the deposit screen for the Intuit fee to make the total deposit match the net amount that reflects your bank.

I do not see Create on left menu. Maybe because I am looking at non-profit Quickbooks online.
I did a search for Quickbooks online. Where is Undeposited Funds account? Found I cannot find undeposited funds account in my qb online... any help
Select Accounting and choose Chart of Accounts.
Look for an account with Other Current Assets in the Type column and Undeposited Funds in the Detail Type column.
However, there is not an entry for $100 on 7/24.
I can help you find the Create menu and the right Undeposited Funds account in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Playawest45.
To locate the customer's payment:
If you can't find the Undeposited Funds account, check the Payments to Deposit section, as it is another term for Undeposited Funds.
Regarding the posting of transactions shared by my colleagues. Keep in mind that QuickBooks Online displays transactions only after you've cleared your bank account. Although your bank may show a transaction as pending, QBO will download it only when it has been officially posted.
For more details on recording and handling bank deposits in QBO, review this article:

There was not match under bank deposit.
Under undeposited funds I see many $100s for the date 7/14 both in Decrease and Increase. How do I sort that. Does the payment show as increase then it has a decrease to show that it is matched and I am looking for an increase with no match decrease?
