Hi there, @debid1967.

I’ll guide you on how to post a prepayment. You’ll need to create an adjustment.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Vendors tab.
  2. Select Sales tax, and click Adjust Sales Tax Due.
  3. On the Sales Tax Adjustment window, enter the necessary information.
  4. In the Adjustment box, choose Increase Sales Tax By and enter the amount.
  5. In the Memo field, type Prepayment.
  6. Select OK.

For additional queries you can check out this article: Pay sales tax.

Let me know if you need anything else. I’m always one post away.
