Welcome to the Community. I'm here to provide some information about the dashboard and how to find bills that are due.
The Dashboard doesn't currently have an option for showing the amount due on your bills. It has an Expenses section, but it only shows the amount due on bills entered with an expense account, not the ones with a Product/Service items.
In the meantime, it'll be better to go to the QuickBooks Expenses page and filter the list to show open bills. Let me walk you through the steps on how to get to this page:

I think it's a great idea to be able to view this information on the Dashboard. We take our customer suggestions into consideration when looking for product improvements and ways to enhance QuickBooks. I see this was a suggestion from the community about 2 years ago. I am new to QB online and have already thought this would be extremely helpful in managing our business. Any updates on getting this on dashboard rather than manually filtering?

At QuickBooks, we're geared toward providing the best service and customer satisfaction. I hear how being able to show the bills that are due in the dashboard is an essential part of business management. We are taking note of this request.
In the meantime, you can follow the workaround suggested above. This way you can see the bills that are due.

This thread has been over 2 years now and it seems that QB still hasn't heard the request from enough of us to make a payables dashboard. This should include things such as bills recently paid, vendor sorting, due dates and upcoming bills, bill scheduled vs not, along with the ability to easily sort and identify bills. For example, helping business owners ensure they don't pay a bill twice by cross referencing dollar amounts and invoice numbers automatically for us rather than having to sort through it ourselves. I hope QB will work on this instead of just stating that they "hear" us and no action or update is taken 2 years from now. Just throwing in my rant for 30 secs.
