It's nice to see a new member here in the Community. To make sure you're able to create a budget with a fiscal year starting October through September, you'll need to first set up your fiscal year correctly. I'll show you how:
- In the Company menu, select My Company.
- Click the pencil icon, then select Report Information.
- In the Fiscal Year drop-down list, choose October.
- Select September in the Tax Year drop-down menu.
- Make sure to select the correct form type in the Income Tax Form Used drop-down list.
- Click OK when done.
You can now create a budget with a fiscal year that starts from Oct-Sept. Simply select the year and the budget type to specify the year you want to forecast in the Create Budget page.
