The system only displays the last 365 days until the current period of transactions. You got you covered on how you can locate those entries beyond the said number of days.
QuickBooks Online prioritizes the recent invoices since these are the transactions that we'll need to manage. To view your past entries, you can go to the Customer tab. Then, view all the invoices that we had created in the previous years.
Know that as long as the transaction is not removed or deleted, you should be able to view them.

On the other hand, if the transactions are still not showing up, I recommend checking the Audit Log of your account. This area keeps track of your activities in the audit log. You can see who made changes to your books and what they did. This way, we can verify on what happened to your old invoices.

Lastly, it's also a good idea to run a sales report so you'll be able to see the transactions that you have in the system. You may want to learn more about customizing the reports in QuickBooks Online. It shows about including and excluding the information you want on the report.
