I canceled my desktop payroll subscription on May 30th. Was charged on my credit card June 15. Have fought ever since. Got part of my charge back. Fought to get the rest back. Had to block quick books from charging my card. The repeatedly are still trying to charge it, 4 months of fighting. I think the attorney General is my only option left. I illuminated my employees because it cost $30 per check for a part time employee. I don't think quick books cares about its customers.
If only it was that easy đ
I've spent hours and hours trying to cancel my subscription and get the charges to stop. I wonder if anyone has gotten through to slowbooks to get it completed. đ¤ probably just cancel the credit card and move on!
Just block quick books from your credit card. You credit card has much better customer service! They will still try to charge every month but at least you won't have to pay. I've spent about 20 hours, did manage to get a refund by getting the credit card company to help. Spent over 20 hours with quick books customer service and can't get the charges to stop. May have to cancel the card, change my email address and forward everything to a post office box and call it quits.
Because quick books doesn't care!
Lots of luck. I don't think they understand what you want!
Call your credit card company. They care about their customers unlike quick books!
Wow!! I'm only 4 months in on trying to get the billing to stop. A fraud case with the credit card company was able to get the charge refunded. Took repeated attempts. But still being billed. HATE quick books for their lack of customer service!!!
My American Express card was charged $95.94 on 12/15/23.
I do not know what this is for.
I do not use QUICKBOOKS.
Let me add some information about this as to why this is happening, 2637.
QuickBooks Payments only charges your account if you have processed or received online payments. If you have previously used QuickBooks before and already canceled your account, it's possible that cancelation isn't successful or these are charges for your online transactions.
I would recommend reaching out to our Merchant Services Team to pull up your account and check what are those charges for. You'll have to do this by logging in to your QBO account. To do so, follow the steps provided below:
However, if you're unable to log in anymore, you can check out this article and take note of the phone number at the bottom part: QuickBooks Online Support.
Furthermore, I've also added these articles so you'll have an idea of the other types of charges in QuickBooks:
