Please note that QuickBooks Online mobile app uses the volume of your ringtone. If you lower it down, put your phone in silent, or in vibrate mode, so it does in the app.

The mute on my phone makes no difference.

It is your app software which is causing the problem.

I solved my issues by getting rid of QuickBooks online all together.
QuickBooks is a piece of junk fintech company who doesn't care about their customers. Seriously I have to go into my computer in the office to complete deposit transactions?
