I do not see the option for "Time and Expenses" in my 2019 Manufacturing & Wholesale edition. Do you need a special version for this feature?
You have this preference, @Bob Saget.
The Time and Preferences option is located at the bottom part of your Preferences. This is available in the Manufacturing and Wholesale 2019 edition. I'll be adding a screenshot below for your reference:
Also, make sure to update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release. This will keep your software up-to-date so you always have the latest features and fixes.

Ah thank you! I didn't scroll down to see that option. Regarless, I still am not able to access the custom markup options in the item window like what is shown in your initial reply.

Thanks for that. I do see an option for a default markup, but not the more detailed markup options like the original poster had. I'd like to set a default markup by vendor, or something similar. My QuickBooks 2019 is current with updates.

If you're looking for the Edit Markup function, this is only available in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. Other QuickBooks versions don't have this option.
Right now, you can only set up a default markup percentage in the Edit>Preferences (Time & Expenses) setting.
