I do have QBO plus. In desktop, i used billing rate category to multiply the hourly rate of each worker times the hours they worked. I then use that information to invoice the client. In desktop, under income tracker, it would be listed as unbilled time and expense. How do the same thing in QBO plus?

Thank you

Thanks for getting back to us, @RSDpe1.

I'll be glad to help you list the unbilled time and expense in your QBO.

First off, you'll need to turn on the Billable Time feature. Let me guide you how.

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and Settings.
  3. Click Advanced on the left panel.
  4. In the Time tracking section, click the pencil icon.
  5. Check the box beside Make Single-Time Activity Billable to Customer.
  6. Click Save.

After turning on the time tracking, you can enter or record time as billable. Here's how:

  1. Click the Plus (+) icon, select Weekly Timesheet.
  2. Choose the employee or vendor.
  3. Choose a customer or project.
  4. Mark it billable to the customer as well as track your time.
  5. In the Sun to Sat column, you can enter the hourly rate for each worker time hours.
  6. Fill out the necessary information.
  7. Click Save and close.
