I pay my business cc bill through my bank account. When I brought over the bank account it showed I paid. If I now bring over the credit card won't I have double charges?

QuickBooks Online allows you to record credit card payments in multiple ways so you can keep track of your expenses, @kimslpny.

If the bank and credit card accounts you use to pay the credit card expense are both connected to Bank feeds, you can record the payment by transferring its record using the Record as transfer option. This way, you can match it with your account so it won't create double charges.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Banking, then select Banking.
  2. Choose the account you need to transfer the payment from.
  3. Select the transaction, then click the Record as transfer radio button.
  4. From the Transfer account drop-down menu and select the account you want to send the transaction to.
  5. Click Confirm.

Once done, you can now match and categorize your bank transactions.

In addition, you can check out different methods on how to record your credit card payments in this article: How to record payments you make to your credit cards in QBO.
