I want standard users to have Customer Facing Emails. I don't want them to alter company information just the customer facing email.

I've created a test email to determine what is allowed. My concern is that if I give a standard user the right to change company info to allow Customer Facing Emails it's still TOO much allowance. Is there a work around?

Hello @jkpfllc,

Good work on creating a new email to test what your employees can do base on the permission given to them. But this time, there isn't an integrated way to invite a user only to have access to change the customer-facing emails.

This is because such tasks can be accomplished by you, the Master Admin, or the Company Admin user. Learn more about access rights with this article: User roles and access rights in QuickBooks Online.

On top of that, I've got you this helpful article for guidance in preparation for the 2020 tax season: QuickBooks Online Year-end Checklist.

I've got a new problem.  If I give a person the permission to change company info it changes for ALL users.

Do you know if Quickbooks Online Plus or Advance changes this issue so that other users aren't sending estimates/invoices/etc. from the wrong Customer Facing Email?

Hello @jkpfllc,

Yes, once a user updates certain information on your data, it'll also update your view as you're both working on the same company file.

Meanwhile, you may need to update the correct customer-facing email before letting the user send the transaction so it won't display the incorrect information.

Additionally, I've also included this reference for a compilation of articles you can use while working with us: Account Management for QuickBooks Online.

Keep me updated in the comments below if you have any other concerns. Stay safe!
