Finding out when QuickBooks deposits your customer payments is my priority, @ttservices73.
Do you use QuickBooks Payments to take credit, debit, or ACH bank transfer payments in QuickBooks? If so, deposit speed depends on the product you're using and the type of payment you've processed. If this is your first time taking customer payments with QuickBooks, you'll have to wait within 5 to 7 business days to see the credit or balance in your checks account. This is to establish your merchant profile accordingly.
Also, deposit speed may vary based on the following factors:
- Time of day you enter transactions.
- Weekends and federal holidays.
- The financial institution where transactions are deposited.
- How long it takes for your bank to verify and process electronic deposits.
You can check the status of processed payments from QuickBooks Online (QBO), here's how:
- Log in to QuickBooks Online.
- Go to the Sales menu.
- Select the Deposits tab.
- Click the bank deposit you want to review.
I've attached a screenshot below that shows the second and third steps.
