Buy nowI opened a new company in QB Desktop and do not want to integrate all my QB POS data for the past 15 years. I know I was able to select a start date in past when to start my data on initial integration but can't remember how??

Hello workboot!
Yes, there is an option to transfer data from a specific date between POS and QuickBooks Desktop. I'm here to show you how to do it.
When doing a financial exchange, let's use the Recover Data function to bring in transactions from a specific start date. Follow these steps:
Once done, use the End of Day procedure to transfer the succeeding data after doing the Recover Data process. Simply click the End of Day Procedure on the POS home screen. Make sure that the Exchange data with QuickBooks check box is selected, then tap Start.
Comment below if you need more help with this integration. Take care!

Thank you so much saved me hours of searching
Will this fix me accidentally sending an update file exchange to the wrong or old data base? What I mean by is.I had done an financial exchange update and it went through its system and sank in to the wrong company data in qb. I change the path to the correct qb company and sank it but only a few sales are showing.
Also is their some one or a location I can find answers or possibly get help to other errors i'm getting by updating on the financial exchange? I've got quiet a few that I have bi-passed so far but a solution would definitely help! Please advise or tell me who to get a hold of or where to look for answers for these errors please.
Hello, liquor2005.
Thanks for joining this thread. I'm happy to point you in the right direction for your QuickBooks Desktop account.
In this instance I recommend reaching out to a member of the QuickBooks Desktop Support Team. Agents have specialized tools, like the ability to share your screen, to take a more in depth look as to why only a select few of your sales are showing after the sync, as well as the errors you mentioned. With multiple issues, being able to see what you see will allow them to work more efficiently and give you the best info. Here's how to get in touch with the team:
1. Go to Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us.
2. Select Contact Us.
3. Give a brief description of your issue, then select Continue.
4. Sign in to your Intuit account and select Continue and then Continue with my account.
5. We'll email you a single use code. Enter your code and select Continue. (If you have more than one account, select the account you want to use and then Continue.)
6. Select to chat with us or have us call you.
The following article provides these steps if you ever need them again in the future: Contact QuickBooks Desktop Support
Please don't hesitate to drop a comment below if you have any other questions. I'll be here to help in any way that I can.
Are they able to help with error codes from qb pos as well?
