integrate data from QB POS to QB Desktop

I opened a new company in QB Desktop and do not want to integrate all my QB POS data for the past 15 years. I know I was able to select a start date in past when to start my data on initial integration but can't remember how??

integrate data from QB POS to QB Desktop

Hello workboot!

Yes, there is an option to transfer data from a specific date between POS and QuickBooks Desktop. I'm here to show you how to do it.

When doing a financial exchange, let's use the Recover Data function to bring in transactions from a specific start date. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Financial, then select  Financial center.
  2. Click Show Advanced Options, then Recover Data Now.
  3. Tap Continue. Enter the date range.
  4. Type Yes in the confirmation window and click Continue.

Once done, use the End of Day procedure to transfer the succeeding data after doing the Recover Data process. Simply click the End of Day Procedure on the POS home screen. Make sure that the Exchange data with QuickBooks check box is selected, then tap Start.
