INVOICES NOT SHOWING PRODUCT/SERVICES OR DESCRIPTION WHEN SENT TO CUSTOMERS

Glad to see you here in the Community, @lisadrby.

Usually, this error occurs when there's too much cache in the browser. To fix this, let's perform some troubleshooting steps. Let's start by accessing the QuickBooks account using a private browser. The following are the shortcut keys you can use:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

If this works, you can clear the cache and cookies of your browser. If not, you can use another supported browser. Possible that your current browser may have a temporary issue with QuickBooks.

You'll want to check out these articles. The information that you can get there is all about managing the product and services in QuickBooks Online.

Please know that you can always get back to us if you have other questions. I'm more than happy to help. Take care.

INVOICES NOT SHOWING PRODUCT/SERVICES OR DESCRIPTION WHEN SENT TO CUSTOMERS

Thanks for chiming in on this thread, @Jordan612.

I'm here to help you fix why your invoices do not show products/services or descriptions after being sent to QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app.

You'll want to open your QBO account in your iPhone's browser and review your form styles customization. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QBO account using a browser.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and then select Custom form styles.
  3. Select New style or Edit to make changes.
  4. Choose the Content tab.
  5. Select the Table section, and ensure to tick the Description and Product/Service checkboxes.
  6. Click Done to save the template.

Otherwise, one of the possible reasons you encountered some unusual behavior with your invoices is full of cache that helps speed up your experience while performing your tasks. That said, we can refresh the data within the app to remove the older cache that causes this odd behavior. Here's how:

For Android:

  1. Go to the Menu ☰ , then click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Refresh Data.
  3. Tap Yes.

For iOS:

  1. Go to the Menu ☰ icon, then select Help & Feedback.
  2. Tap Refresh Data.
  3. Select Refresh.

If the issue persists, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the QBO mobile app. It allows you to use the app on a clean slate.

Additionally, here's an article for your reference about utilizing the templates in QuickBooks Online and what other information you can add to your sales forms: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Keep me updated on how these steps turn out, and let me know if you have any other concerns by dropping a comment below. Have a great day!
