I understand your concern about creating invoices using the Google Calendar integration, Nancyg21.
I want to inform you that this feature is currently unavailable as we transition to the new invoice layout. In the meantime, you'll need to manually create your invoices after being migrated to the new experience.
Please know that our product engineers are constantly making improvements to the new layout after the update. However, some features will temporarily be unavailable while we transition to the new forms. This includes Invoicing with Google Calendar, Price rules, and Account summary.
Though there may be some short-term gaps in the available features, we are making these improvements to create forms that are faster, more powerful, and meet more of your needs.
You can read more details about the updates here:
Please provide feedback on the new forms so we can focus our efforts on the features that are most important to you. We are committed to making this upgrade beneficial to our customers as much as possible. You can use this article as a guide: How Do I Submit Feedback?

Please fix this ASAP!! It is literally the only reason I use quickbooks. So will be cancelling if this is not fixed.
Also I had this issue six months ago. Spent time on customer service. solved by using old layout. They have had six months at least to fix this before making it mandatory!!! Let us have the old layout until fixed!!!
Got an email update from quickbooks this morning saying it was resolved. It is not. After an hour and half on customer service with three different people, the best they could say is that maybe it was resolved by their deleting the app from the list because it is not working.
ME as well. I actually upgraded my quickbooks to a different type of account 2 months ago, just to get back to the old template.
Dear Quickbooks,
Why can't we have the old template until these issues are fixed?
Has this issue been resolved? I am considering using QBO for this feature, but definitely will go to another company if this has not been resolved.
I appreciate you reaching out with your question about using the invoicing with Google Calendar integration in QuickBooks Online's new invoice format, lmarquardt.
I understand you were looking to take advantage of that feature, however I want to set proper expectations that the new invoice layout does not currently support integration with Google Calendar. Our product team is still in the process of bringing over legacy features like Google Calendar to the updated experience.
While this feature is currently not available, I would recommend sending feedback to our engineers. Customer suggestions are greatly appreciated and will be reviewed for the future developments of new features as well.

I’ve been a ProAdvisor for many years and work with small businesses so bill hourly. The loss of this function is a real problem and the lack of notice when it happened meant a lot of scrambling and many hours lost. The platitudes are not helping and paid alternatives like Clockify cost money and really aren’t up to the task. Yes I’ve given feedback, but please fix this.
The Google Calendar/QuickBooks connection is the ONLY reason I chose QuickBooks for my invoicing needs. I have provided feedback through the gear icon countless times on this. Please provide a date of when this will be resolved, so I can understand how much longer I have to continue to suffer through this. Thank you.
We value your patience and understanding in facing challenges with a specific integrated app in QuickBooks Online, 321Tutoring. I'm here to shed some light on this matter.
The integration between QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Invoice Google Calendar was discontinued at midnight on October 31, 2024. A series of emails were disclosed to our clients using this app within their QBO between September 27, 2024, and September 30, 2024. We understand that this news may cause issues for our valued customers who rely on this feature to manage their invoicing efficiently.
Moreover, we are committed to providing our customers with excellent service and meeting their needs. To that end, we suggest considering other apps that offer similar functionality as alternatives to Invoice with Google Calendar. To assist you in finding a suitable option, we have compiled a list of these apps, which can be found at the following link.
Additionally, QBO offers an automatic feature to remind customers of invoice due dates, eliminating the need for manual tracking and concerns about excessive reminders. You can learn more in this article: Send invoice reminders automatically or manually in QuickBooks Online.
Let us know if there's anything else we can assist you with. You can reach out to the Community at any time. Take care!
Hi QBO,
You claim that you are trying to make "improvements to create forms that are faster, more powerful, and meet more of your needs." However, without the Google Calendar Integration, we are having to manually enter each date of service for our clients. This is making invoicing take triple the time. PLEASE tell us when this calendar integration will be restored! If it isn't going to be restored, what other calendar app will sync with invoicing in quickbooks? We can't wait much longer, as this is incredibly frustrating.
SAME!!! It is so frustrating and the main reason we chose Quickbooks for invoicing.
We appreciate your patience and understanding with the discontinuation of integration between QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Google Calendar, @stjohnsreadingroom. Let me provide you with further details on this matter.
I recognize how important it is to have this feature available promptly. However, we're unable to provide a specific timeline for when or if this integration will be restored.
In the meantime, we recommend exploring other third-party apps available in the QuickBooks Online App Store that offer similar functionality for handling your invoices. Please reach out directly to the app's provider if you have any questions about the integrated apps in your QuickBooks account.
Additionally, I've attached these articles for your future reference in handling invoice payments and customizing sales forms in QuickBooks:

I've been using Clockify, it's imperfect, but better than nothing.
