Let me share more details about budgeting. In QuickBooks Online, only the Advanced plan can import a budget through an Excel or Google Sheet. You'll have to manually create it if you're using QuickBooks Online Plus.

Please check this guide about creating and importing budgets into QuickBooks Online. In this article, you'll see the steps in getting a budget template for Excel or Google Sheets and importing it back to QuickBooks Online.

You'll want to upgrade your plan to Advanced have not only this feature but a lot more. Check the features here: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/pricing/#.

I can see that budgeting is a very important tool for your business.

At the moment, the Budget feature in QuickBooks Online only caters Income and Expenses. If you wish to see more options like for CapEx, feel free to submit a suggestion. Just click on the Gear icon > Feedback.

You can also try to look for third-party apps that offer budgeting features to QBO.
