Hi there

Thank you
Yes, we're still using this feature, @PS1995. I can provide you with the updated steps to view statements in the Advanced Search feature using statement numbers.
Once you click the Go to transactions search link after selecting the Search icon, you'll see the Search your transactions window. From there, if you aren't ready with the new user interface, you can switch back to the old view by clicking the Go to Classic Advanced Search link. Then follow the steps below on how to filter statement numbers to show the exact statement that you're looking for:
By following these steps, you can effectively view the statement numbers and other features related to creating and sending customer statements in QuickBooks Online.
For more information and additional insights, you can run a Statement List report by clicking the Search icon and entering the statement. Then customize it to filter to the specific report period to view sent or saved customer statements. Then review these articles below to utilize more system features like custom data view, export, and print reports:
Please feel free to post any concerns or queries related to QuickBooks in the Community. Have a wonderful day!
Hi, I'm also having issues searching for QB generated statement numbers. I followed your instructions to find the Go to Classic Advanced Search, but it doesn't exist on my version of QBO. It's important as we get company checks that only have a statement number on it and we have no idea who's account to credit since we only enter a customer name and last name - not a business name.
Hey there, @Heavenly101.
We appreciate you joining in on this thread.
I can see how beneficial this could be for you and your business. However, this is a feature that isn't available at this time.
I recommend sending feedback to our Product Developers so they can consider adding a new feature to help you and other users. You can do this by going back to the "Search your transactions" screen and pressing Send us feedback.
Don't hesitate to reach back out if you have any further questions. Have a great day!
I sent a feedback request a few times already. This search was available in the classic version and was the best way to find a statement number. Is there a way for the system to stop automatically generating a statement number on statements? No need for it to be there if we can't search for it as it gives the check writer the confidence that we can find them that way. How can we disable that from appearing?
