Right now, we have an ongoing investigation about the duplicate entries from Etsy to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). Rest assured that our product engineers are actively working to get this issue fixed.
In the meantime, you'll have to manually remove the downloaded duplicate Etsy transactions in the program. I'm here to guide you on how to exclude them.
The screenshot below shows you the steps. For detailed instructions, go through this article: Exclude or Delete Transactions.
I want to ensure you're in the loop about the investigation's status and its fix. With this, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team so you'll receive email updates. Please provide the INV-41299 to our representative as your reference.
Once excluded, you can categorize and edit your Etsy transactions. You'll have to select Personal, Business, or Split as the type, and choose the appropriate categories for them. This ensures your financial records are correct. For more information, visit this article: Categorizing Transactions. This is also the same process in categorizing your other bank transactions.
Please know that I'm here anytime you have other concerns. Have a great day, @dk4335281.
So there is no plan for Quick books to correct the Jan. problem on their end and I am expected to delete almost 100 items, that are intermingled with the correct one, while making sure each deletion is correct. If so, not happy, not happy at all. I would at least hope Quickbooks would compensate its users in some way for the time is will take to correct the mistake.
1500 entries I have to scrub because QB can't get their sh*t together.
