Online payments are not working for me suddenly! I've checked all my default settings, QB says I'm ready to go on all counts for it, it has worked in the past.

I can preview my invoice PDF or Email with proper graphics, I save invoice, and when I come back all the payment options are off and the sent invoice doesn't have the Pay Now link.

Hello there, @sara82.

Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to get your online payments working again and bring you back the Pay Now link on your invoices.

Based on your description, you may have a browser cache-related issue. That's why your online payments account isn't working suddenly. Your browser saves files to load websites faster on your next visit. But over time, it'll get outdated, which can cause errors and performance issues using QBO.

To fix this, you can perform some troubleshooting steps. Start by pulling up your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)

Once signed in, check all your payment options and sent invoices.

If your invoices now have the Pay Now link, return to your default browser and clear its cache. This will refresh the system and remove older data that causes viewing and performance issues. However, if this matter continues, I'd recommend using other supported browsers.

In case the issue persists, I'd recommend contacting our QuickBooks Payments Care team. They can check your account settings and create a care to trigger an investigation to get your issue fixed in no time.

Also, you may want to check out this article as your reference to guide you on how to check how long it takes to get customer payments in your bank account after processing in QBO: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposit customer payments.

Keep me posted in the comments if you have other concerns about managing invoices and payment transactions in QBO. I'll gladly help. Take care, and I wish you continued success, @sara82.

Both browsers I'm trying are supported, all history/cache's cleared, problem persists, even in mobile app. Pay Now shows up in Preview PDF and Preview Email, but disappears when actually sent or invoice downloaded, or previewed. Share link also goes to a similarly no Pay Now situation. I'll call the team tomorrow, but I'm now with a payment that client would have gladly made today and now I'm waiting 1-2 weeks for a check. Bummer.
I've received large and small payments this way in the last month and am familiar with how it should work and how long money would take to get to me. It is not a problem with payment being made and not seen. It is a problem with payment ACH, Credit Card and PayPal sliders turning themselves off.
