Thanks for letting us know that the program is up to date. For us to check if this is caused by a minor data issue within your company file, we can do the Verify and Rebuild Data. This process will help us identify the most commonly known data issues and fix them.
You can find the instructions in this article: Verify and Rebuild Data in QuickBooks Desktop.
Once done, try opening the Client-Ready Payroll Reports. If you're getting the same result, let's make sure that your computer meets the system requirement. Here's a link for more information: System requirements for QuickBooks Desktop 2019 and Enterprise Solutions 19.0. Go to the Software compatibility section and check the Microsoft Excel version.
If your version is compatible, we can try to repair the Excel to fix the issue. This link includes the detailed steps about the process: Repair an Office application. If none of these suggestions work, you can follow Steps 4-5 in the Repair an Office application article.
Please let me know how it goes. I'm help to help you some more.
