I want to fix the unable to run reports problem in QuickBooks right away, @SriSri.

Normally, you can run a Profit and Loss by Customer report as long as you have permission to open (admin, standard, and report-only user). It sounds like your server was interrupted or corrupted. Sometimes, too much cache build-up in your regular browser can cause unexpected behavior in the product.
I'd suggest pressing the F5 on your keyboard to refresh the connection. Then log in and out if necessary. If the issue continues, I'd recommend logging your account through incognito. This way, we can check if it's a browser-related issue.

Once logged in, re-run the Profit and Loss by Customer report to verify if it's already performing well. If it works, return to your regular browser and press the CTRL+ Shift and Delete keys on the keyboard to clear the cache.
But if the issue persists, you have the option to run the Profit and Loss or Profit and Loss by Month reports. Then customize them one at a time to give you the total over the specified period for the account categories. See the sample screenshots below for more reference:
