I have a suscription of quickbooks Premier 2018. I don't need automatic payroll so I activated quickbooks manual payroll. I made all the configurations and some tests. After few hours it appear a line in the employees tag that read Payroll done for you and is blocking me for use the manual function.
I'm really sure is a automatic feature trying to force me to use the paid suscription of Payroll online, but I don't needed because I'm using it in the Dominican Republic.
Can you give me some advise here? Thanks.

Payroll done for you is just another clickable option under the Employees menu. When you select Pay Employees instead and enter the details of the employee's payroll, are you receiving a popup about payroll done for you? I'd like to understand which part it blocks you from entering your payroll data.
If the offer pops up, you can click the close button. Then, continue working with your payroll. If you can't close it, you can repair QuickBooks.

Allow me to step in and help figure out what's blocking in the system from using your manual payroll. Did you have an automatic payroll before? If so, the service key from your previous payroll could be blocking you from processing the manual payroll.
I'd recommend contacting our Desktop Payroll Team so they can remove the service key and help you continue working with your manual payroll.
