I can see there are features in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) that you'd want to do in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Know that QBO and QBDT are two different QuickBooks products with unique features. Thus, there are features in QBDT that are not present in QBO.

To print checks in QBO, you'll have to select the Print later checkbox or the Print check option when creating a check so it'll add to the print queue. Then, to print checks from the print queue, here's how:
- In the left menu, click the + New button.
- Choose Print checks.
- Load your checks into the printer.
- Select the checking account that you created the check from the dropdown ▼.
- In the Starting check no. field, enter the check number of the first check in the printer.
- Select the checkbox next to each check you want to print.
- Select Preview and print.
- If everything is correct, select Print.
- If your checks print correctly, select Done.
